This community event will take place on Wednesday, June 25, at 6 p.m. in the theater at West Valley High School, 8301 E Buckeye.

Earlier start date for 2025-26 school year
Our school board approved a slightly different version of the West Valley 2025-26 calendar that has Wednesday, August 27 (prior to Labor Day) as the start day for most schools. Click on the title to read more.
School year concludes on June 13
All schools will begin at their regular times on Friday, June 13, and buses will pick up at normal times. There will not be late start in any buildings, but schools will dismiss students early.
Equipping WVSD students for success
The West Valley School District will provide basic supplies for in-person elementary and middle school students during the 2025-26 school year.

Summer childcare for WVSD families
Licensed school-age care is available for a fee to families with students in grades K-5 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 16 through August 22 at Ness Elementary.
